Tracking numbers

Choose, assign, and test US tracking numbers without losing the campaign and original source behind each call.

A number for one source

A dedicated number identifies the place where you publish it. Use separate numbers for sources you need to compare. Reusing one number in unrelated ads makes that distinction unavailable.

  1. Select the account first

Open Phone numbers in the correct business or client account. Check the purchase allowance and current charge.

  2. Choose the number and destination

Choose an available US number. Set where it rings, attach the relevant campaign when needed, and review recording preferences.

  3. Confirm the purchase

Read the price and confirm deliberately. Then place an approved test and inspect the call in the same account.

Moving or releasing a number

Keep a written mapping of the old source, new source, and change date. Update ads, websites, and phone links before releasing an old number. Releasing a number may make it unavailable to recover. Do not use number reassignment to rewrite past attribution.
