Reporting & monitoring

### What changes in your day.

Reporting should help you ask a better question than “Did the phone ring?” Bring call volume together with the source, connection, and outcome details that explain what your marketing actually generated.

01

#### Compare campaigns in context

Review call activity by campaign and the information available for each call. Use comparable periods and consistent outcome definitions when evaluating performance.

02

#### Follow a number back to a conversation

Move from a summary into call details. Listen to available recordings or read transcripts when a change in performance needs an explanation.

03

#### Share a reviewable result

Use filtered reports and CSV exports for a campaign review. Keep the chosen filters and date range clear so another person can understand the figures.

From setup to review

### Put it to work.

- 01

#### Choose the question

Decide which campaign, time period, or call outcome you want to examine.

- 02

#### Narrow the report

Apply the relevant filters and review the underlying calls.

- 03

#### Use the evidence

Share the report and the conversation details that support your next decision.

Make an informed choice

### Read call analytics as a sequence of business questions.

A call analytics report should explain where demand came from, whether the receiving team answered, and which inquiries met your qualification rule. Lead Source connects campaign activity with call details and recorded outcomes. Filter the period you need, investigate the underlying conversations, and export results for a more detailed review.

Define each measure before comparing campaigns. Total attempts, answered calls, unique inquiries, qualified opportunities, and booked work describe different stages. Use the same dates, timezone, and qualification rules on both sides of a comparison. Bring advertising spend from the relevant source and document how you matched it; a call report does not automatically establish campaign profit.

Illustrative arithmetic only — not customer results or performance benchmarks

Campaign Ad spend Qualified inquiries Spend per qualified inquiry

Repair search $1,200 12 $100

Seasonal promotion $900 6 $150

#### Compare the same outcome, then investigate the difference.

In this example, spend divided by qualified inquiries gives $100 and $150. That identifies a question worth reviewing, not an automatic instruction to stop the second campaign. The campaigns may serve different services, have different margins, or produce bookings on different timelines. Small samples also make apparent differences less dependable.

Add the explanation behind each result: unanswered calls, repeat inquiries, service mismatch, and outcomes still awaiting review. Separate advertising spend from tracking costs unless your chosen metric explicitly includes both. Assign one next action and an owner. Use the same definitions in the next reporting period so your team can see whether that action helped.

A closer look

### Useful answers before you start.

Explore the workflow above, then bring your own requirements to an early-access
conversation.

Can I tell whether a call became a sale? +

Only if the relevant outcome has been recorded. A connected call or long duration is not automatically a completed sale.

Can I export the report? +

Yes. Report exports let you download filtered results as CSV files for spreadsheets or another review process.
